- WHAT IS Kid's Festival?
Kid’s Festival is the largest independent youth event in South East Europe: Since 2004, over 40,000 children from all over Bosnia & Herzegovina participate each year. The widespread program combines entertainment & education: workshops, booths, quizzes, games, movies, performances, dance acts, acrobat acts, mini circus… lots of fun and many things to learn! International performers, clowns, magicians, dancers, musicians are each year the highlights of the Festival. They provide diversity and a glimpse at the cultural richness of the World for thousands of children that have never travelled outside their country.
Kid's Festival’s motto promotes the initiative of the Council of Europe “All different, all equal”. - OBJECTIVES Confidence building among the young generation in Bosnia; creating trust in B&H’s future in the European landscape; building of cross-entity networks, mutual understanding among the different ethnic groups;

7th June KID’S PARADE:
4PM - The colorful KID’S PARADE through Sarajevo City Centre starting Benetton Megastore (Ferhadija/Park Svjetlost). Walk to Zetra.
Schools, foreign artists, partners, friends, embassies, staff members, sponsors, community police officers participate. Adults and kids: just get your flags, national costumes, fancy dresses, instruments, fantasy outfits, costumes, masks, colorful hats, face paint... dress up for the Kids Parade! The best costume or outfit will be awarded. 6:30PM Movie (special projection at Zetra) - 8th - 11th June: KID’S FESTIVAL IN ZETRA 2:00PM, beginning of workshops, exhibitions, entertainment, booths. 5:00PM beginning of DJ animation, Kid’s Cosmic Show. 6:00PM beginning of the film screenings (entrance to the movie hall from 4:30PM)
- TICKETS - Box-office: at Zetra Entrance. Price: 5KM (reservations for groups over 15 pers. only)

• Termalna Rivijera Ilidža will give a 50% discount for Children up to 16 years, from 12th – 30th June.

Final report Kid`s festival 3
The third Kid’s Festival Bosnia took place in the Sport and Cultural Center of Skenderija, Sarajevo from the 9th to 15th June 2006. The program started daily at 13h00 - one hour prior to the official beginning due to the large amount of public present on location early. As in the previous years, Kidfestival offered a large variety of creative and educative workshops, entertainment and everything children love, but increased the amount of activities and happenings by 40%, so that the public was overwhelmed by the size, growth and diversity of this “Kid’s planet” within their country. Each day 25 activities were offered, some of them every day, others just a few days, while new ones were added. Taking into consideration that 50% of the children could attend several times or even every day, and others only once, the entire program of the festival was constructed around the 7 daily mottos shifting different children’s animations and themes, without changing the overall program frame. Every day had its special highlight. The main program with dance groups, pop stars, lottery games, the so called Kid’s party, was organized every day before the film screening at 17h00. Kid's festival’s huge multiethnic gathering attracted artists and performers from many countries. A bright image of BiH starts to spread beyond and within its borders.
